We are committed to good practice in Safeguarding and have adopted the national Church's policy and guidelines, available to view here. We also have our own policies that are in line with the other Churches in Headland that Joel is the Vicar of. Both Joel and Jess are DBS checked and trained. Joel has experience of safeguarding within a school context as an ex-teacher, and has been on the board of governors at two schools, various churches and a sports club, while Jessica has worked in various schools and is also up to date with the latest safeguarding training.
